I seriously was a denier that I could be perimenopausal until I popped into Boots and broke down in tears at being asked for my Advantage card.
I knew there was something wrong with me, the brain fog was awful, I couldn't concentrate or even sometimes remember where I was or what I was doing there. At times I would be midway through a sentence and forget what I was talking about. I has pains in my hips, knee and elbow joints, but due to a friend being diagnosed with bone cancer I was too scared to go and see my GP. My hair was thinning, my skin was itchy but I was (still am) having regulars periods so I couldn't be perimenopausal.
After the Boots incident and a row with my other half over a cup of tea, I knew I might need to see if I was ill, going totally mad, or just stressed. My GP wasn't really interested as I am on the pill and having periods so I was cast to one side but thankfully a good friend of mine recommended Dr Harper. What a difference a couple of months can make, my party piece is that I have gone from struggling to get off the sofa to being able to touch my toes. I can remember phone numbers and email addresses. My memory of spelling has improved and I am far happier in myself. I now know I didn't need to be scared I just needed to speak to the right person. During our first meeting I felt so comfortable straight away and realised it was ok that I had felt scared and even had a little cry but Dr Harper just made me feel so relaxed, I felt like I was talking to my best friend even though we had just met.
I had my second appt with Dr Harper yesterday and I needed to say a huge thank you.to her. I have changed so much in a couple of months. Granted my symptoms haven't all disappeared but it's only been 2 months but I am more alert, my vision is so much more focused, my memory has improved. My confidence is rising.
I can not recommend Dr Harper highly enough, she has saved me from myself,. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Dear Dr Harper,
It’s difficult to put in words what a tremendous change meeting you brought into my life!
I knew that things are changing as I move on in my life’s adventure. But many of those changes were not of a kind that I was willing to take with me on my journey or start learning how to put up with.
And when the obvious medical channels left me feeling not cared for and therefore deeply unsatisfied, I started looking for a different solution…
And when you’re asking the right questions and looking in the right direction the Universe provides by sending you the right people…✨
And that is how I came across your Instagram account and the rest is history.
Thank you for doing your job in the right way with knowledge and attention to detail tailored to my specific individual needs! By running the necessary blood tests, which allowed you to correctly diagnose my needs and rectify the deficiencies, you changed my life and the way I live it.
From everyone in my life, Thank You for providing the community service of making me fun again!
I am over half a century young and I feel better than ever!
Dear Doctor Harper, thank you for ‘putting a tassel on my tail’! ;)
With gratitude and admiration,
I V Ryall

My consultation with Dr Harper was so helpful; understanding my symptoms and reassuring me about how low I was feeling. She empowered me to make my decision about HRT.

I was recommended to Dr Harper just over a year ago, during this time we have built an excellent relationship with a number of consultations. She is always available to discuss symptoms and my biggest issue weight gain and lack of engergy. After a year I am now losing weight, have all my energy back and really feeling just like I used to. Her excellent bed side manner make you feel just like your talking to her friend and she is able to educate you on just what your body needs and how she can help. I have recommended several friends. Thank you Dr Harper for all the help and support.
